The Boise Greenbelt boasts over 30 miles of serene riverside trails offering an escape from our bustling city. A green oasis in the high desert, the Boise River first attracted French-Canadian fur trappers over 200 years ago. Rivière boisée or wooded river eventually became Boise but the river is still the main attraction. Reconnect with nature and pedal your cares away on this scenic tour with Boise Bicycle Tours.

Your guide will lead you through beautiful parks, wildlife preserves, and recreational areas providing a diverse and interesting ride. Wildlife is abundant in this natural setting and many species of birds including Bald Eagles, Osprey, and Blue Heron call the Boise River home.

Winding paths, tunnels, and bridges make for a fun ride that guarantees to put a smile on your face. No need to worry about traffic or street crossings, there aren't any, just miles of care free riding.

The Greenbelt bike tour is about 10 miles long on nearly flat terrain and will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. This is a relaxing easy ride, with plenty of stops but we can adjust the distance at your request.
